Volunteer with Solidarity Budget
Are you interested in volunteering with the Solidarity Budget? If so, please complete the form below so we can connect you to the appropriate team lead. Below is a brief description of each team. We look forward to meeting you and working with you to win ALL our demands for the 2024 Budget.
Teams will include the following:
Art & Communications Team (Political Education) - Create social media posts, press releases, and other communications about Solidarity Budget
Council Team - Meet with councilmembers about Solidarity Budget and help others setup meetings & prepare for meetings with councilmembers
Action Team - Organize direct actions focused on the budget
Budget Analysis team - Review the Mayor’s proposed budget and Council’s proposed amendments to see how they align with our demands
Endorsements Team - Outreach to organizations and individuals about endorsing the Solidarity Budget’s demands
Event Planning Team - Organize and plan events to provide education around the budget process and Solidarity Budget
Public Comment Team - Take advantage of public comment opportunities to express support for Solidarity Budget
